Playing Guidelines
 
Tee-off times
  • We are open from 07h00 to 17h00 - Tue-Sun. The last tee-off time is at 16h00 weekdays, 15h30 on weekends and public holidays.
 Fees
  • It is R50 per person for the 9-hole or 18-hole mashie course Tue-Fri and R20 extra for 18 holes on weekends and public holidays. There are 3 sets of tees: Mens, Ladies and Obstacles. The Obstacle tees provides a real challenge for the experienced golfer.
  • For the beginner, the mashie course is a good introduction to the golfing experience. For the intermediate and the experienced player, it is an excellent practice of the short game.
Dress Code
  • Dress code is casual. No slops or vests allowed.
Rules
  • Outside white pole boundary no play permitted.
  • Maximum of 6 shots per hole.
  • Maximum of 4 players at a time.
  • Placing on fairways, inside white pegs.
  • No alcohol on the course.
  • No admittance to dams, lakes or rivers to retrieve golf balls.
  • No children under 12 play without adult supervision.
  • Children under 8 not permitted to play.
  • Children and visitors not playing are permitted to accompany golfers, by are not allowed on the tees and greens.
  • Repair all pitch marks and divots.
  • Players and spectators not adhering to the rules will be asked to leave the course.
  • Try to speed up play, but if you are playing at a speed which results in the players behind you having to wait, please allow the players to pass and then resume play.
Penalties
  • The Hennops River, all ditches, drains and ponds of the permanent nature are water hazards
  • The ball may be lifted and dropped no nearer to the hole. Penalty, one stroke.
Immovable Obstructions
  • All pop-up sprinklers, valve covers, bridges, manholes, course signs and rock/stone outcrops.
  • Ball may be lifted and dropped one club-length away, not near the hole. No penalty.
Ground Under Repair (GUR)
  • Drop one club-length away, not nearer the hole. No penalty.
